FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment (FGAA) is a need-based assessment service designed to help identify the financial needs of our families. FACTS provides Trinity Oaks a need-based financial aid analysis service which ensures that our process for establishing financial needs adheres to nationally established standards of best practice.

FGAA does not decide whether financial assistance will be given or how much to give; rather, FGAA provides a need-based financial aid analysis service which includes a recommendation of what a family should reasonably contribute toward tuition. All information from FGAA is kept strictly confidential. The information supplied to FGAA by you, the applicant, and the results of FGAA analysis is then reviewed by the Tuition Assistance Committee to determine the financial awards to be granted. Once the process is completed, financial aid award letters will be sent to families.

As a reminder, you must reapply for need-based financial assistance each year.

APPLY FOR FACTS GRANT & AID

Financial Aid Application Process

At any time during your enrollment process, you may use the FACTS website to apply for financial aid. There is a $40 application fee.

The following are required in order for FACTS to process your application:

  1. A completed online application.
  2. Copies of your most recent tax return, including all schedules.
  3. Copies of your W-2’s for both applicant and co-applicant.

PLEASE NOTE: Financial assistance will not be awarded until a student has been accepted through the New Student Admissions process.

Because financial aid funds are limited, and the demand is high, late filing of applications and supporting documentation may result in non-renewal of a financial aid award. Therefore, it is important that you file as soon as you are able. Financial aid awards are not considered final until all tax returns and W-2’s have been received and verified by FACTS. If you have any questions about the overall financial aid process, please feel free to contact the Finance office by emailing khaslow@trinity-oaks.org or calling (847) 462-5971 ext. 132.
